These are the grades for Xu Yingchao (徐英超), Hsu Ying-Chao (Class of 1937), for classes taken at Peiping National Normal University (now Beijing Normal University) in 1919. The document lists the courses, the hours each week, the length of the course, and his "standing". Some of the classes listed is History of Ethics, Hygiene, Military Science, and theories of Play. The document is signed by the registrar, the dean of the Department of Physical Education, and the president of the University. It is dated June 5, 1936. ; Xu Yingchao (徐英超), Hsu Ying-Chao (Class of 1937) as he was known when he attended Springfield College, was born in 1900 and died in 1986. He studied at Springfield College during 1936-1937. Xu got a Bachelors of Physical Education (B.P.E.) in the summer of 1937 and a Master's of Physical Education in the Spring of 1938. Xu was a pioneer in Chinese sports statistics and the first to introduce sports statistics courses to university classes.

Two trends in Russian religious thought – Russian religious philosophy and Or­thodox theology – for a long time developed separately. In their history, they have followed different paths, they have different destinies, significant connec­tions have not been established between them, and their synthesis has not oc­curred. This problem has become the subject of special attention of the Russian philosopher, Professor Sergey S. Horujy. Capturing the philosophical signifi­cance of the hesychast turn in Orthodox theology, Sergey S. Horujy transferred it to philosophy. Having made three turns – hesychast, anthropological and phe­nomenological – Sergey S. Horujy carried out a synthesis in Russian religious thought on the path of reconstruction of hesychast anthropology. And having cre­ated his own anthropological concept – synergistic anthropology, Sergey S. Ho­rujy thus accomplished the synthesis of philosophy and religion at the present stage of their development. S.S. Horujy distinguishes three types of ultimate hu­man manifestations and three ways of unlocking, opening oneself to the Other: ontological, ontic and virtual. Their description forms the basis of synergetic an­thropology. Going beyond anthropology in the established sense of the word, synergetic anthropology, developed by Sergey S. Horujy, goes beyond the scope of philosophy. Arising on the basis of Orthodoxy, this discipline also goes be­yond Christianity and can become the center around which all the disciplines of modern humanitarian knowledge will unite.

Secrecy is an interesting topic in contemporary epistemology, because whilst there has been a lot of work on issues to with how we understand what it is to be private there has been little work on the attendant issues of secrecy. In part this is because secrecy and privacy are often thought to be, if not cut from the same cloth, similar enough that understanding privacy entails understanding secrecy. However, I argue that we cannot mop up issues to do with secrecy in the same way we think we can deal with similar issues to do with privacy; secrecy and the revelations of secrets pose very different issues to privacy and the protection of our privacy.

В апреле 2023 г. в «Доме А.Ф. Лосева» состоялся международный круглый стол «Владимир Соловьев и будущее русской философии», посвященный 170-летию со дня рождения философа. Организатором выступила редакция журнала «Вопросы философии» при участии «Дома А.Ф. Лосева – научной библиотеки и мемориального музея» и научного проекта «Литература сквозь призму философии: история русской лирики в эстетике Вл. Соловье­ва» (ИМЛИ РАН). В обсуждении приняли участие философы, историки фи­лософии, филологи. В центре их внимания оказались следующие вопросы: значение философских идей Владимира Соловьева для осмысления тенден­ций современной русской философии; актуальность метафизики «всеедин­ства» Вл. Соловьева и современная эпистемология науки: против позити­визма; актуальные смыслы софиологии Соловьева: взгляд из будущего; вклад Вл. Соловьева в развитие «русского метафизического языка»; Вл. Со­ловьев в русской философской «сфере разговора»: собеседники и институ­ции; социально-философская доктрина Вл. Соловьева и ее современные интерпретации; «соборность» как проблема русской философии; истори­ческий опыт Вл. Соловьева как поиск «пределов»: как возможно «мыс­лить до конца»; Соловьев и его «Заслуженные современные собеседники»: А.Ф. Лосев, П.П. Гайденко, С.С. Хоружий; значение эстетических идей Вл. Соловьева для осмысления литературного процесса. Стержнем дискус­сий, завязавшихся при обсуждении указанной тематики, стал вопрос о кон­кретной роли Вл. Соловьева в становлении русской философии. Ниже пуб­ликуются материалы «круглого стола».
